Is It Really That Bad To Buy A Laptop With Bad Video Card?
I have mobile intel 965 Express Chipset Family for my laptop’s video card . I know it is not a great video card but is it really that bad? I mean i could play World of Wacraft with my laptop. I have 4 gb of ram and 2.0 ghz ( 2cpu). Dovideo cards really affect a lot of stuff in my laptop? I am worry about my laptop because i wish i didn’t buy a bad laptop.

oh man!!! a video graphics card plays a major role in a computers capabilities, though at least you can update it at its manufacturers websites to keep up with today’s web based media, but sooner or later it will get outdated real fast and you will have to upgrade it, it doesn’t mean you have to buy a new laptop just a newer video card, so for now do’nt dwell on it, just update it but if its games you are looking to get into then yeah that is bad cause you will have to play them with the minimum graphics requirements and even that will suck, can you say LAG!!! which is all you will see, even when not online, its very commonplace to have an up to date video graphics card if your looking to play games and if it is games your looking to get into it without having trouble with software and computer capabilities, then your looking at wasting a lot of money i would suggest getting an xbox 360 and using that to play games, its the reason why i dont play computer games anymore, it costs money and not just for the games but for graphics cards and other stuff, hope this helps you out a bit, but make sure you update what you got at least…
even with a boatload of ram and a sweet cpu the games are going to be sucky without a good gpu and with laptops they are nearly impossible to change (trust me that was $700 down the drain) if you ca n get a better laptop or better for gaming a desktop if possible. if you dont have the money you can turn down the graphiccs and be able to play with some lagg. thats what i do with my compaq presario f500 it works for gaming but there are better options for not too much more. good luck!
As long as it suits your needs, its fine. But for newer games, it won’t work as well. Video cards control the speed and depth of video, they take the load off of your motherboards RAM and processors.
Of course the higher power video cards take a larger load, increasing performance, which is crucial in gaming and graphic development. Lots of RAM and 2 cpu’s always helps speed =D
i think you will be fine for world of warcraft. Even on all low settings for that game it does not require many resources from the video card. it is designed so that almost any computer now a days can play the game
If you play games (3D gaming) on laptop, video is the main factor. but if you just use it for everyday application such office work, it doesn’t matter at all.
Sett all the Settings at low resolution and it should run fine.. as long as you have good ram it wont be to bad
